- For families who want to use half term to get away but want to stick to a tight budget, check out Travelodge. The hotel chain has 50,000 rooms priced from £10 to £29 for stay dates from Friday 23rd October 2009 till 3rd January 2010.
- If you’re keen on a minibreak and want good value but your budget is a bit bigger, look into the half price deal offered by the Vincent hotel in Southport. A night in one of the hotel’s V residence guest studios is £70 from Sunday 25th October – Thursday 29th October. To book call 01704883800 and quote “half price at half term”. Family attractions nearby include shopping along Lord Street, Southport pier and fair, the Botanic Gardens, Vue Cinema, Bowling, and new leisure centre Splash World.
