The lovely people at Aldi have sent me some instant coffee and two kinds of scrummy chocolates to sample on the heels of the Which? blind taste test that found Aldi Alcafe Rich Roast to be on par with Sainsbury’s Full Roast and Nescafe Original.
In the taste test, which you can read more about in the Daily Mail or AOL Money, consumers rated the three brands nearly equally. However, Which? calculated that a couple who switched to Aldi from Nescafe could save as much as £54 if they each drank two cups per day.
The coffee was quite tasty so seriously for that kind of savings do you really have to think twice? £54 can buy you a lot of nice things!
Out of the package I was sent what I’d really like to rave about was the choclates. My favourite was the dark chilli chocolate bar from Moser Roth (see snap). At 99p its an affordable luxury!

I’m sticking to real coffee thanks but the chocs were nice!
