All the clothing will be donated to Oxfam, which could help Oxfam raise over £1 million in sales if M&S hits its target of collecting hundreds and thousands of items.

If you can’t make it to a M&S today, bring your old M&S clothes or soft furnishings to an Oxfam shop and you’ll be able to pick up your £5 voucher there. It’s a nice, simple way to clear out your home, save money, reduce waste and raise heaps of money for Oxfam.

According to Oxfam’s site:

> Since the Clothes Exchange started in January 2008, it’s helped prevent over 2,500 tonnes of clothing going to landfill.
> And selling the clothes in our shops has raised an extra £3 million for our work.
> Not bad when you think just £5 provides safe, clean drinking water for eight people.

The fine print on the voucher is that it’s good for £5 off a £35 spend on clothing, homeware or beauty products in M&S.
